  Walk through the city where the first state voted to secede; sail to the fort upon which the first shots of the conflict were fired; and visit conservation lab home to the submarine that is distinguished as the first ever to sink an enemy ship in battle.

  Our interdisciplinary approach to the Civil War includes lessons in social and military history, forensic science, archaeology, and conservation.
