Charleston County Parks A wide variety of programs are offered by professional naturalists and educators. Seven beautiful parks offer hands-on programs in environmental, historical and nature-based activities. All programs are consistent with South Carolina social studies or science curriculum standards. Activities include pond poking, seining, sampling of animal populations, natural resource management, or exploring cultural traditions of coastal South Carolina, Native American skills and more.
